The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international nonprofit that provides services to neighbors in need through the work of volunteers who organize themselves through conferences in communities large and small. There are nearly 4,500 conferences in the US, of which the SVdP-Holy Trinity Conference in Bloomington, IL (in central Illinois) is one. None of our volunteers had experience managing a web design process; we needed professional help to even know where to begin. GoldenComm's fantastic team guided us through a complete web re-design, from helping us create a new domain name, designing a clean and effective Landing Page (in one day!) that permitted us to communicate with our community as we worked through multiple challenges due to COVID-19, establishing web-based volunteer inquiry forms, making changes to copy many many times, until we felt that the whole page and internal copy "was just right" -- and so much more. We know that our website is secure, too, and that if any issue arises, they will have our back. We are excited about how our new website will help us strengthen our work in our community. Our program manager was available and responsive and patient, and her advice was unfailingly exactly right. When I consider what we achieved under GoldenComm's guidance, I cannot imagine a company that could have done better. I would award 20 stars, but five will have to do.
