For the second year in a row the GoldenComm team laced up the running shoes and ran in the annual John Wayne Grit Series - Newport Coast edition. Our team of 20 GoldenComm employees (plus a few friends) conquered the out-and-back 5k loop, again... Whoa! What a great event. Over 500 runners, with three different races (5K, 25K and 50K), a bunch of energized people, helping to fight cancer. The John Wayne Cancer foundation will continue the Grit Series with stops in Moab, Utah/ Ridgeway, Colorado/ Lone Pine, California/ and finishing around their exhibit in the Fort Worth Stockyards. If this sounds like a good vibe for you, consider signing up next year as we will for sure be at it again in 2025.
